Hard Times

"The softest things in the world overcome the hardest things in the world." Lao Tzu

("When times are the hardest is when you have to be the softest.") (Especially with ourselves.)

Ah! And with the children! When they're going bonkers is when you have to be at your softest, most gentle, to calm them down and reassure them with your serene presence! What a great quote, that's going on my clipboard!

Couldn't agree more, montessorimatters. The children truly feel our presence. We must have softness in out presence and be the best for them every day.
